Welcome to search.myusearch.com, which is published by College Prowler, Inc. ("College Prowler"). As used in these Terms and Conditions, the term "Web site" refers to the Web site located at search.myusearch.com as well as online services that include, but are not limited to, our school matching and search features. College Prowler does not control, and is not responsible for, any third-party site to which the Web site links.
You agree that your use of the Web site and the school matching feature is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions may be modified at any time and from time to time; the date of the most recent changes or revisions will appear on this page. Continued access to the Web site by you will constitute your acceptance of any changes or revisions to the Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with the Terms and Conditions, please do not use this Web site.
The materials contained on the Web site are provided by College Prowler as a service to you for your noncommercial, personal use on an "as is, as available" basis and may be used by you for information purposes only. You acknowledge that you are using the Web site at your own risk. College Prowler assumes no responsibility for error or omissions in these materials. College Prowler periodically schedules system downtime for maintenance and other purposes. Unplanned outages also may occur. College Prowler shall have no liability for the resulting unavailability of the Web site or for any loss of data or transactions caused by planned or unplanned system outages, or any outages of web host providers or the Internet infrastructure and network external to the Web site.

By accepting these Terms of Use you warrant to College Prowler that you are 13 years of age or older and that you have the authority and capacity to agree and abide by these Terms of Use. Your use of the Web site and the school matching feature does not take the place of any entrance application. It does not guarantee the admittance into a school and College Prowler does not make any guarantees, representations, warranties or promises that such will assist you in getting admitted into a school. All Web site users must still perform the institution appropriate application process as the Website does not replace the application process.
You agree to indemnify College Prowler and its parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and each of their respective partners, officers, directors, employees, and agents, against, and to hold each of them harmless from, any and all claims and liabilities (including attorney's fees) that may arise from your submissions, from your unauthorized use of material obtained from the Web site, from your breach of these Terms and Conditions, and from any such acts arising through your use of the Web site.
Expressing Interest in a School
Throughout the site, users are prompted to express their interest in a school by expressing "Yes" or "No" to the prompt, "Are You Interested?". If you select "Yes" for a school then we'll attempt to inform the school of your interest. If we can reach the school, we'll share your profile information with them so that they can contact you directly. Regardless of your level of interest in a school, College Prowler always recommends that you follow-up with schools directly as we cannot guarantee that we can connect you with every school. This feature is only available to those who have filled out the information form.

All materials published on the Web site are protected by copyright laws, and may not be reproduced, republished, distributed, transmitted, resold, displayed, broadcast, or otherwise exploited in any manner without the express written permission of either College Prowler or, in the case of content licensed by College Prowler from third parties, the entity that is credited as the copyright holder of such licensed content. How does the Web site use information supplied by me?
Information collected on the information form: By submitting an information form, participants are authorizing College Prowler to use your personal information to connect you to a school and we may sell or share it with selected outside companies. You may opt out of any future usage of your contact information from our database at any time by emailing support@collegeprowler.com with the words "remove my name" in the subject line of your email; however, a partner of ours may have saved a copy of your information in the process of trying to match you to a school of interest. We are not responsible for the retention, use or privacy of Web site user's information in this situation.
Information collected automatically: When you visit and interact with the Web site certain information may be collected automatically, including but not limited to, your computer's IP address, your browser type, and web pages visited. Please also see our discussion of the use of cookies and other technologies below.
Information sharing: The information that you provide to us and general information collected about your visit to our site may be shared with our suppliers or service providers who assist us in maintaining the Web site. In addition, we contract with certain third parties to help manage and optimize our Web site business. What are "cookies" and "pixel tags" and how do you use them?
