A San Diego State '12 student majoring in Health Care gives a grade of B+ to Campus Strictness:
Serious Academics, No Boundaries With Social Life- "San Diego State University has a reputation for being a party school and it does live up to its name. There are great places to party and be social, but that depends on who you're with and where you hang out. Academically, there are amazingly intelligent students that attend this university. There are many that take education seriously, but are not afraid to have fun."

A San Diego State '13 student majoring in Health Care gives a grade of B to Off-Campus Housing:
I Live With My Parents.- "I live with my parents, and it makes it really easy to get things that I need, and I spend less money that way. I save money by carpooling with friends and taking classes every other day. If you're looking for your own apartment to live in, its kind of difficult to find one near campus. If you want to move around the school, the best bet would be just to dorm. But if you absolutely have no choice but to find an apartment outside of the local area, I don't think transportation will be a problem; we have our own bus system and our own trolley station. Also, look on bulletin boards around campus; people frequently put up offers about having rooms for rent."

A San Diego State '13 student majoring in Health Care gives a grade of A to Off-Campus Dining:
Food!- "I remember the first week or so of each semester, people would walk around and hand out coupon books to students. There are A LOT of places to eat in and around campus, and many of them give student discounts. Some require the coupons, and some just need student ID's. There's such a variety of places to eat off-campus, that you just need to go check everything out for yourself."

A San Diego State '13 student majoring in Business gives a grade of B+ to Drug Safety:
Drinking Is More Popular- "There isn't too much hardcore drug use. People may smoke weed, but other than that not much else is common. There is however a lot of drinking and partying. Alcohol is very visible, you can walk by apartments on your way home on a Friday night and see solo cups and people clearly out drinking or stumbling back home."
