How does the Web site use information supplied by me?

Information collected on the information form: By submitting an information form, participants are authorizing College Prowler to use your personal information to connect you to a school and we may sell or share it with selected outside companies. You may opt out of any future usage of your contact information from our database at any time by emailing support@collegeprowler.com with the words "remove my name" in the subject line of your email; however, a partner of ours may have saved a copy of your information in the process of trying to match you to a school of interest. We are not responsible for the retention, use or privacy of Web site user's information in this situation.

Information collected automatically: When you visit and interact with the Web site certain information may be collected automatically, including but not limited to, your computer's IP address, your browser type, and web pages visited. Information sharing: The information that you provide to us and general information collected about your visit to our site may be shared with our suppliers or service providers who assist us in maintaining the Web site.
